Why Americal Eagle more expensive than the Canadian maple leaf?

Given the fact that the Canadian maple leaf gold is 99.9% and American Eagle is only 91.6% gold, I hope the maple leaf to be more expensive. I try to find if the maple leaf is lighter than the Americal Eagle – that is whether 1 troy ounce gold Eagle is the content and not the actual weight of the coins.
