Who is the best gold bullion Krugerrands investment or eagles? – Why?
If you do not run on me, do not buy gold. Sometimes I think the U.S. Gov't. maintain its wild spending and therefore we have both inflation and currency devaluation $ continuous. In any case, will be only 10% of my portfolio.
I think you're smart to get the gold. My opinion comes down to this: gold is gold is gold. No matter what you buy, provided that it is authentic, and is generally identifiable by those in the trade. By this definition, you're okay with krugerrands eagles either. Today 'rand are less expensive because the premium that Americans have been the Eagles, but again, you get the same premium when you sell, so it's a wash. I you should get some physical gold and 10% is a good target to hit. But again, talk to someone who owns 30% of the physical metals.
