Design
The design of the American Buffalo gold bullion is a modified version designed by James Earle Fraser Buffalo Nickel (Type 1), released in early 1913. After the mound was removed, the modified type 2 is still struck by the rest of 1913 and every year until 1938 (except 1922, 1932 and 1933, when it closed no nickels). On the back is an American bison on a mound of earth, commonly called a buffalo. The animal is otherwise considered by many as a bison named "Black Diamond", who lived in Central Park in New York City Zoo during the 1910s. We Fraser said he would have someone to distract the Buffalo when he slipped in his hand to draw. Otherwise, the buffalo did not look and Fraser did not have the profile he wanted. [edit] Design of nickel Fraser is generally considered one of the best designs U.S. currency.
